This is a simple box, but I’ll gladly take it over the filth that’s there now. Anyway, this firm does nice work, so I would not be surprised if this is far from the final product.

How completely boring

A far cry from what we potentially could’ve had… sigh

I’ll wait for the final product. This will be hidden on
a side-street and will replace utterly decrepit garbage: Gehenna per se!

The lavish proposal was from a Turkish developer, Nef, who was to develop it as a partner of the owner, B&F (https://www.bfmgmt.com). Nef wanted to make a statement in NY when Turkey was flying high. Now, Turkey is a dumpster fire laden with flammables on the verge of explosion.

Anyway,

Here’s some other work from this architecture firm.

Something will also rise on this narrow but very deep lot just down 37th.

I’m disgusted that this vile excrement is still standing.

Whoever does develop that lot would be smart to try and integrate the former Tiffany’s building into the project somehow!

(at least for branding haha)

They don’t own the building that’s between the old Tiffany Building and this site. Maybe they’re trying to acquire it.
