Your bottom pic is a nice comparison of ecole de beaux arts and post-modern Art Deco revival. I’m grateful this building has detail and isn’t just another blue glass monolith

Because this tower is so skinny, a significant portion of the facade percentage-wise is left open to make room for the crane and elevators. Makes it harder to see the full picture from the north and south until much later.
