such a ridiculous building, it is at least 5 stories too short, and now is stuck there for the next 50 years

Nah. It’s a TINY plot of land. Look it up; so tiny!

Extra stories = more elevators, and one more elevator would almost certainly make the whole project non-viable by cutting into each floor plate too much. I strongly suspect that’s the math that determined this building’s height.

Or it could be FAR, I guess…

But either way, it’s a safe assumption that they built as high as they could.

It’s interesting that they’ve opened the sidewalk though they havent finished cladding the entrance part.

I don’t dislike it necessarily, but something about the way this turned out looks like a blow mold.
