Anyone know if they’re still doing a mid-block crosswalk between the MW plaza and Farley/Moynihan? The sidewalk at the Farley entrance was raised substantially from street level, which makes me wonder whether they’re going with a raised crosswalk or just trying to prevent people from crossing there. The MW side is still a work in progress.

It’d be pretty disappointing if people had to trudge half a block and back to get from Moynihan to that attractive plaza just outside the door.

WOW. For a long time back in 2011-2012 my wallpaper was the skyline from that exact angle and at night too. I need to try to find it again, because I know the change from that 2011 angle and this one is absolutely mind blowing. Think I count 20 towers above 700 feet that were not there in 2011.

There’s a nice satisfaction of watching these two towers go up. Just slow and steady. A gentle rise into existence.

These are beautiful towers, but they would have been even nicer if the roofs slanted.

The Eugene was such a missed opportunity. Even something like 35HY with a mix of stone and glass would have made a world of difference.

This was an early design for The Eugene. Still really boring but better than the cheap-looking building we ended up with.
