Today
We must have crossed each other lol. I was just around HY.
I was there about 2 hours ago. Great day to walk around. HY is so strange- back to a ghost town (pedestrian wise). Most buildings are still under construction though.
I’m not sure the crown is supposed to be illuminated. Would be great to see.

From 7.4.20:
I think the best part of 1MW was watching the initial floors of steel rise. It’s weird how these buildings achieve both a bunker-feel and openness about them in their base. Also glad they are different.
Wind-Bracing formulas from a old architecturebook 1901.
are they still valid or are there other ones today?
I love Manhattan west, if you never been there you need to go
I’ve been to Hudson Yards, but not Manhattan West. Not yet
The formulas look similar to the ones I’ve used in school so probably! @Mackensen
The bases of Manhattan West remind me of the base of 1 WTC. A giant steel bunker.
1 Manahattan West’s lobby glass is really fun. If you stand at one of the edges its like a funhouse mirror.
