Agreed. I still think the western facing facade turned out worse than I’d hoped. The switch from exposed stone to just glass happens on one floor and just looks like 2 different buildings.

That’s my only editor’s note though. Overall, this was a classy looking tower to rise on the skyline and set a good precedent for those to follow

It’s great that 30 Hudson St is not lonely any longer, but now it feels like there should be one more tower near these two…ideally something like 950 ft. Overall, 99 Hudson turned out solid.

Looks like Brooklyn. LES is visible in the mid shot, just on an angle. Right around the BQE.

Yup. I was just commenting on how the Brooklyn and JC skylines merge into each other in that picture. It’s quite remarkable. It’s common to see Brooklyn and Manhattan look like a single skyline, or JC and Manhattan, but this is something I’ve never seen before!
