Today
Taken earlier this evening. Exterior work on the front entrance is looking great. I’m really not a fan of the backside of this however…
I agree. It would have been nice if the stonework dissipated as it climbed—like the side facing the city. Or even if the stonework continued with the same widths towards the top, it would have been an improvement.
Edit: wanted to add that I think it’s a nice tower still. Would like to see the crown lit soon.

Crane and construction elevator finally coming down
99 Hudson relative to Lower Manhattan. Hard to believe in this shot that a 900 foot tower looks minuscule relative to its surroundings. That’s the nice thing with Jersey City, that it adds a lot to downtown from a far. Aesthetics wise, it almost blends into the skyline node, even though its separated by a river.
Wonder if they’re going to light up the crown. That’s gonna look really good at night.
Yeah I believe the white portions are supposed to light up.
They have this cool lighting feature on the base. I wonder where else we’ll see it. The glass on the storefronts are also going in now.
This one turned out nice, cant wait to see what tops it
