They’re also starting cladding on the base of the tower portion, on the other side of where I took this photo. I was in a car, couldn’t get a photo of it though

Isn’t there another pretty tall tower planned for Hudson St as well?
There are two other potential skyscrapers a block away. One is next to the Goldman Sachs tower and another across the street. I don’t remember seeing anything recent on them

Yellow is 99 hudson. The dark blue ones are in between 500 and 750 feet U/C the faded blue ones are in between 500 and 750 proposed.

That’s what I thought.
I’ve always viewed Jersey City as sort of a sixth borough of NYC and any new tall developments over there is a win for the NYC skyline and metro area. I would love to see more 900 ft plus buildings along the Hudson.

We already have one colossus. We should build one on the southern tip of Governor’s Island.
