Highrise/skyscraper Development Lists - All U.S. Cities Applicable

It’s pretty good for the most part, but Central Park Tower doesn’t have a spire anymore, the original design for 220 CPS is being used, 1 Park Lane looks to be next to the original Park Lane hotel instead of replacing it. Also there’s no One Vanderbilt, 425 Park Ave, 520 Park Ave, a completed WTC complex, Hudson Yards, Manhattan West or any of the downtown projects. I know I’m being particular but it would’ve been more epic if they managed to capture the full magnitude of what’s currently in development in NYC.

I’m eager for the reveal of 666 5th, even if it’s just a conceptual design in the end.

Given the slow down in the ubermarket, I wonder if Virnado will proceed with this. It would suck if it doesn’t because 666 is a PoS.

The time is now or never because 666 is nearly empty. If the plan is abandoned, and new 20 year leases are signed, it will never happen.

Well, it would probably happen, but just not until the leases end. Or, alternatively, most lease agreements have demolition clauses that require buyouts.

In any case, I bet 666 Fifth is eventually redeveloped.

There is so much u/c in NY.

We have 310 threads that are in construction status.

354 threads that are proposed. For one city!

And 91 threads in complete status.

Almost all skyscrapers, high rises, and the dozen + super talls u/c or proposed.

Great!

Just for super talls. Posted this over at SSC.

9 Dekalb is u/c.

With that said, 10 supertalls u/c at the same time. 3 WTC being topped out.

Other supertalls complete are:

  1. 1 WTC
  2. ESB
  3. 432 Park
  4. Chrysler
  5. NYT
  6. BOA
  7. One57

City has 30% more than the existing, complete stock u/c.

We haven’t even got our trousers off yet as there is a whole slew of proposals.

45 Broad being one that comes to mind and will start very soon.

300m+ proposals

Now for towers 400 ft / 135m and up to 299m. Proposals

What’s 29-37 41st Avenue? Never heard of this proposal.

Thats the lic clocktower development that was recently sold to durst a few months ago. No news since the purchase on how tall or when they will start.

We call it 29-27 queens plaza north here.

it was reported that Durst possibly wanted to build as high as the previous proposal, but a more recent article stated it will only be ~750’
