I love the shape, I just wish that dark mechanical cladding wasn’t there on the south face
This is one of the worst supertalls I’ve ever seen. The wind pass through could have been done a thousand times better (111 57, 432 park) and instead looks cheap and unfinished. The placement of the louvers is terrible, and there is no effort to hide them, which wouldn’t have been hard (like one WTC). Altogether I think this is a hugely disappointing building that shows even supertalls can be butchered
She’s a beaut!

@bpc While I do agree with you on the cheap wind pass through, I don’t agree this is one of the worst supertalls I’ve seen. For me, the design is astounding, the cladding is a little strange but I dig it. But I will admit, not the most pretty. I think for me the height is what I appreciate most here. Chicago doesn’t get too much action very often when it comes to supertalls.

Towering over her ugly sisters -
Any prospects for what might be the next supertall built in Chicago?
Hoping this one which is a beaut.

I hate whatever went wrong here.
Agreed those gaps ruin the design.
