Does anyone on this page live in New York City? What are the travel restrictions for people out of state? I live in Washington, DC and want to travel to New York City in two weeks, but I don’t know the restrictions. Are there mandatory quarantines?

i don’t know how strictly its being enforced but yes you would be subject to restrictions. Anybody traveling from a non-contiguous state/territory is.
You would need a covid test before leaving and then a 3 day quarantine upon arrival after which you could get another covid test to be cleared. Details here: COVID-19 Travel Advisory | Department of Health

With those restrictions in place, do they actually think people from out of state would travel to New York at all? It seems a bit ridiculous, especially coming from a place like DC, which is more locked down than New York.
