the trick of NYC is that everything is so tall that these towers all together look short. you would think all the towers are 4-500 feet and that 432 would maybe be 800 ft
Such a valid point. New York is so massive that it’s hard to appreciate just how big everything is from photography alone. You really don’t have a sense of scale until you’ve been there in person.
That’s always shocked me every time I’ve been to the city. I’ll be in an area of Manhattan that from afar looks like its buildings are tiny, but in reality I end up being surrounded by 400-500 foot buildings
