It’s worse than yesterday with the smoke - it’s stinky, there’s a god-awful yellow tint to everything and the air feels ‘thick’ and hard to breathe.

what kind of smog is that?
Canada’s got a ton of wildfires going on and it’s smoke was blown here by the wind causing the air to become sickly yellow and quite hard to breathe along with smelling like fire. It’s so bad that the sun is not even visible. It’s awful. I can normally see NYC from the beach, but that’s not the case today. My photo is unedited, this is what you see.

Today at 3 PM. Still bad, but you can actually see most of the skyline and the sky again. By me, it’s also infinitely better in terms of air quality as well with the smoke smell not being really noticeable.
