I wouldn’t be surprised if these same politicians say that eminent domain is all fine and good when they need to add 20 more lanes to an already massively wide highway. Hypocrites.

Oh, wait, here’s a massive list of projects that are for both oil and highway projects that are using eminent domain. I’m sure they say that these are all fine and good as they are for benefiting the general public. I guess if it isn’t for interests that line their pockets with kickbacks or “donations”, they’ll be quite outspoken about it.

I’m all for it EXCEPT that it goes right by Austin’s airport but nowhere near San Antonio’s. That’s either an unforgivable oversight or an intentional attempt to gain more business for Austin’s airport, given that the commission was funded by Austin. That’s a deal killer, sadly.
