35-story residential tower proposed at 395 3rd Street in SoMa, San Francisco. The project is poised to create 559 new homes in the city by several other major developments. Strada is responsible for the application.

We were the first to find a permit for this tower in April, and now we’ve uncovered these renderings for 395 3rd Street, designed by Henning Larsen, inspired by the coastal Redwood tree. My favorite fun fact about this, 395 3rd street will be shorter than Hyperion, a California redwood and the tallest tree in the world rising approximately 380 feet tall.
