“The first project is what he is calling a “World Class Museum” on the Northeast Corner of Broad and Spring Garden Streets - - the Guggenheim of Philadelphia - - to be built in the parking lot of Mural Lofts (the former Stevens Administrative Building). The architect showed an artist’s rendering of what the Museum might look like. It has a lattice-like façade and stands perhaps 6 to 8 stories high. Eric has a Billionaire investor in mind who he thinks might put up the money to do this project. Eric believes it would be a new and important destination, bringing people into the City, and giving us a platform for artists in our community. The vision includes an Art Institute, space for local art and artists, and a world class collection of art, presumably provided by the Investor.”
Posted on SSP. Tower seems to be scrapped for a shorter building
