I’d like to see the foundation for 2 WTC enclosed in something other than signage which basically says let’s all hold hands and dance around in a circle together. Instead put renderings for the two proposals on there and encourage the submission of more proposals. As just one example of how this could pay off, Maya Lin’s design for the Vietnam Veterans Memorial was originally for a college class assignment (the professor gave her a B-).
