According to this map, there will be a BRT stop on the west shore of Staten Island called “Teleport.”
I guess the thinking goes that when this BRT actually gets built, many decades from now, Staten Island will finally have a teleport terminal, making the BRT obsolete - because if you can teleport yourself to your destination, why would you ever need a bus?
a not-so-subtle reminder arrived Tuesday in the mailbox of every municipal worker and it came from the mayor’s chief of staff. It read, in part…
“All city employees should be advised that, absent a reasonable accommodation, you are required to report to work in person for every scheduled workday and hybrid schedules of any kind are not permitted.”
Someone KNOWS how ‘things work’ in this city. Good observation.
It is the same in many other cities too. This was one of the most beautiful Historic Buildings in Yonkers - the developers had the right ‘connections’ to dodge the landmarking designation. Good story here:
Rangers won the first two games of the series in MSG but proceeded to loose 0-4 in the last 4 games of the Eastern Conference Finals to get eliminated by the Tampa Bay Lightning.
But 2 more home runs for Aaron Judge in a spectacular 6 home run game against the Cubs.
