Scary stuff and still a very volatile situation. There’s an elementary school across the street locked down that was fired upon. I can’t imagine what those kids and their parents are going through.

It’s been a crazy day… Too close for comfort from my neighborhood. Heard sirens and helicopters all afternoon. Took my sister almost 2 hours to get home from her high school near Montgomery St.

This is pretty cool. Looks like they are starting to use new, far more attractive scaffolding.

It even has some neon lights!

Very cool concept art

This is the kind of plan I’d support in several parts of the city. Midtown/FiDi/LIC could all benefit from building pedestrian-centric streets like this. Keep a lane open for vehicles like ride-sharing, buses and delivery trucks. But I feel it’s not sustainable to keep allowing unchecked amounts of private car traffic into the busiest urban cores of this (or any) city.

All this stuff just seems gimmicky.

They should just keep it classy a simple like the west village market they just made by the high line. That entire area is amazing.
