Is that Roosevelt Island?

It’s the new malt drive park on Newtown Creek.

It’s pretty. They did a good job.

I guess nothing says pretty like a 50 HY crown knock off with (seemingly) cheap residential windows and awkward massing! Glass boxes are often criticized…especially here. If this is pretty, then I’m devilishly handsome

I assumed @stache was referring to @JC_Heights ’s photo location (Malt Dr. Park), not The Orchard.

That is correct.

Lighting is finally on. Very dark and hard to see, hopefully it’s brightened soon.

I wonder what that green light is.

Perhaps it’s RGB and can change colour.

That “green” light looks closer to the original colors in the rendering:

Just snapped this. It appears the green is along the edges of the square insets? If so that’s more interesting than I thought the lighting would be.

And there is also red ambient lighting on the roof from FAA lights? But they are not on the tallest part?

Looks like that corner has a gradient(?) or could be a reflection. This is showing a lot of promise.

The red ambient light looks like the FAA lights reflecting on the roof structure.
