There is SO MUCH $ being handed under the table in this administration -

Wouldn’t be surprised if this were true. Wealthy NIMBYs are essentially controlling the city’s housing supply by blocking new development and attacking developers. DeBlasio and all the machine cronies need to leave.

Yesterday.

Is this one on hold? It doesn’t seem like much progress the last few months.

Yes! They’re trying to make the developer shave several floors off the building despite it’s DOB approval.

There’s an idiotic NIMBY lawsuit, so project is delayed until judge tosses suit.

The most recent court decision lambastes the DOB for approving this project. I certainly would not be surprised if DOB folks took money for this and other projects recently subjected to court challenges. In any case maybe it’s the city not the building opponents who are getting things wrong. If the city wants wants bigger buildings (which in some cases certainly makes sense) then it should run the political gauntlet to change the rules rather than approve doubtful projects (perhaps after bribes) that sometimes end up in limbo.

CORRECTION: Sorry. The building project that got panned in court recently was Two Bridges not his one. But my general sentiments are the same.
