NEW YORK | The Greenwich (125 Greenwich St) | 912 FT | 72 FLOORS

Great to see this one’s not sitting idle anymore.

This building would look so much better if all of the exposed concrete were clad to match the base.

Can anybody please explain why this person named “Guessers” (I sometimes see it spelled as a singular noun without the final S) constantly takes a sh*t on everybody’s comments on YIMBY? Saw his comment in the article and its so insulting, let along to Thomas, and don’t see any reason for sounding so cruel

There’s always harsh comments on NYY and even Philly YIMBY, I won’t be shocked if the rest of the sites recieve it. Some people never state their opinion, they just share their opinions on someone elses opinion. It’s very unnecessary and so rude.

I will also state that wasn’t my comment on New York YIMBY, but I literally agree with Thomas

Guesser’s statement wasn’t even an opinion at all. He just sounds like a typical school bully picking on random kids for no apparent reason, and in this case completely mocked Thomas without hesitation. Its so shameful and honestly wish people and comments like that get blocked and reported

Didn’t upload this one yesterday but its a different angle. Pic by me via yesterdays trip.

125 Greenwich can be seen. A worthy complement to the area.

The best skyline node IMO with NYC. Most aesthetic that is.

How long can that scaffolding safely stay there?

Each level of the scaffolding of the construction hoist is temporarily attached to each floor, so it should still be secure. Hopefully we can see the hoist being taken down by early next year

The zip begins! Many years overdue but will really clean up the skyline.

nice to finally see this get the finishing touches. I wish the base had a bit more flare to it though. And I hope they touch up those open air spaces so they’re not just black voids.
