It (The Paxton) magically turned 90 degrees in the render, the whole perspective of the overall image is kind of off. lol

Yep, the Paxton is turned 90º, they gave it a giant height chop, and the perspective is off. It’s a really bad Photoshop. And of course they left out the nearby Brooklyn Tower. All of this is to make their building look way more important in the skyline than it actually will be.

Idk much about the excavation part of construction but this process is taking too long. I was looking forward to watching this go up at the same time as 589 Fulton and 23 Hanover.

Reminds me of the excruciatingly long excavation for Brooklyn Tower - something about the location along Flatbush?
the Q,B,R trains are right along the site.

It’s a complex site for a foundation. Subway lines on the Flatbush and Fulton sides.
