The only good thing about the lighting is that since the LEDs are on the inside of the facade, it will be way easier to replace busted lights than on some other projects (looking at you, One WTC base cube). Hopefully they maintain it well

Lets hope, but I still suspect it will be slightly difficult because the space the lights are in is only 2 inches wide and 3 in out of view, sandwiched between the columns holding up the façade and the façade lol.
For some reason I can no longer find the images of the light testing that occurred earlier this year anywhere, this is the only thing I could find.

Itâs nice that an ADA accessible subway entrance was built with this project, even though itâs not physically incorporated into the structure, atleast it looks nice and modern. I donât think some people know that there are also subway entrances in the memorial grove as well since they are some what inconspicuous.

Yes, with External LED lights however. I know because I removed them yesterday.

Itâd be nice if the cameras were working to see how it looks in the larger context lit up (and the brightness of it) but they went offline again about a week or so ago.

I just wonder how the vegetation will look on the top. I wonder if that circle of grass rendered on top was just a concept
It wasnât so much a concept as it was actually part of the old proposal, but it was removed/changed when the building was âredesignedâ. But the top isnât accessible to the public, atleast not that I know of, thats why the guard railing isnât fancy or anything.

I stopped by today. Itâs coming along nicely. The stairs are in place at the entrance as well and awaiting cladding, etc.
Itâs looking really nice next to 1 WTC.
