my mistake.
my point is that ambient light from the inside does not light the stone, it is part of the panel system, therefore, shadows and other light obstructions within the building cant be seen from the outside.
but the quote that streetscaper highlighted suggests that the light is just ambient from inside
I’m so mad she blocked me, I love her work
I’m glad to hear about the lighting system. Thank you!
Why did she block you?
Probably political bs, but I’m not like that anymore. Since then I’ve made my Instagram highly focused on my photography and computer work. Speaking of my work, I’ve updated the 3d new World Trade Center model for accuracy.
Hopefully it won’t take 3 years for the PAC bean to be installed unlike 56 Leonard…

Those 6 big beams can be seen on the floor plan. I believe when they go a floor above the public floor they’ll connect as cross bracing
I really like that black stone sculpture. Modernism at its best.
I typically think modernism falls flat on commercial scale buildings but looks great on smaller projects like this.
yea, ill meet you at the monolith…
if those people are to scale, looks like the monolith is 70-80 feet tall ![]()
This is one of the most complex construction jigsaw puzzles I have ever seen. Amazing.
Still weird that the temporary loading dock structure is still up
Until the helix is fully built out, I’m not sure if it’s up to code to have trucks going through the under-passages that intersect with the helix below grade
This is nowhere near done. That will be there until this VSC opens. I am not sure they can open this VSC with the PAC under construction above.
Wait until you see the upper clockwork of this building. It is the most complex and irregular structure ive seen.
