amazing…although not sure I’d want to be in a helicopter when that storm moved in. EDIT- if I had to guess, this guy is piloting illegal drone flights over the city, in which case I retract my ‘like’.

Happy to be corrected. I saw what could only be drone (or dirgible/Goodyear blimp) shots on the his instagram account and made the assumption. If that is from the penthouse of 8 Spruce…well then that is one killer view.

I realize this building has a TON of windows, but this is a slow cladding job. If I close my eyes and look one year into the future, I can still see the murky outline of an external hoist forever affixed to this building.

This tower looks like a glassy and improved version of Home Insurance Plaza. Only Home Insurance Plaza took a year total to rise and be completed.
