Nice replacement.

More OMA for NYC makes me happy.

OMA is also the designer of the upcoming renovations to a former County College Building in Journal Square to become Jersey City’s new museum :raised_hands:t2:

good, that street is a dump, though the neighborhood is very vibrant

given not to many barriers for development, expect buildings like that to be the norm in a decade or two

New Yorkers aren’t Thrilled about the New Museum…?

Well Robert is, and I am, and so-on-and-so-on: and most people will be as well IMHO.

I imagine a small child looking up and squealing in delight - “Wow, look at that, that is SO cool”.

I see my elderly mother responding to my query on what she thinks - “now thats different, I like it”.

My various friends and associates would marvel at the creativity, the artistry, and WOW factor of that new addition - “This looks FANTASTIC”.

The above statements are just a sampling of what the vast majority of responses will be to this new museum expansion. I can not ‘prove it’ - but my tacit understanding leads me to believe this Architectural Design will be a popular success. :star_struck:

Should be UC rather than proposed. It’s going to be a terrific building.
