If there was news on that the forum for 2 WTC would’ve been filled with new replies
Yeah the day a redesign/time table is announced I imagine that thread having like +50 replies within 30 minutes. It’s easily one of the most anticipated buildings to still go up in the city. Mostly because it would go a long way towards closure on the site.
Render I made of 2030 NYC skyline using a photo posted by someone here on yimby, it’s really not the best lol. But I tried
Nice you used my photo! Lol
Aaaaaye, then credit to you!
I know that 350 Park may have a huge blank wall but I so look forward to a double spired supertall. Chicago has two iconic buildings (Willis and John Hancock), let’s go NY.
The John Hancock Center and the Empire State Building are my two favorite skyscrapers in the world! I’ve been to both, and they are simply breathtaking!
What’s the tall blue one next to 99 Hudson? Is that the lot next to 77 Hudson?
These look great btw!
That’s a placeholder for the proposed 1132’ tower at 55 Hudson.
NYC has pulled so far ahead of any other city in North America it’s not even a competition anymore
These are incredible. Mouth agape.
It’s true. We are firmly into the 21st century compared to any other city on this hemisphere - albeit, we exhibit the same, if not worse, typical American insfrastructure issues.
Sometimes, I like to think we are the “Dubai” of America, oddly enough.
Wrong. No other city can compete with New York City. New York City has the densest collection of tall buildings than anywhere else. Dubai can’t compete with New York City. Dubai is just a tourist destination, not a global business finance and entertainment capital. Not to mention that Dubai doesn’t have full occupancy in its skyscrapers — no demand.
