I know this hulking beast is divisive, but I absolutely love it, even if not conventionally attractive. I consider it a NYC icon. It does, however, look dirty as hell, and I wish it still said Pan Am on the roof

Some are speculating the Helmsley Building across the street from 200 Park Avenue will be converted to residential.

The views from the north-facing units would be stupendous!

I wonder how practical it would be to convert only the North-facing side of a building like this and either leave the South-facing side office space, or just leave it empty.
