So the area facing 10th Avenue will be a park, and the part of the plot to this area’s immediate west (including over the Amtrak tracks) are where the new housing will be built? Is that correct?
Found out that they are installing a marquee (overhang). Not exactly sure why they are covering the whole corner unless the marquee is going to be at the very top, which seems sort of odd.
City is moving forward with ‘community visioning’ for 324 East 5th Street. Can’t get rid of this NYPD surface lot soon enough. Hopefully they follow suit shortly at 388 Hudson.

Developer Silvera Properties recently filed plans with the city for a 60-unit residential project at 536 W. 28th St. The site once housed the gentlemen’s club Scores.
Silvera’s project will span about 77,000 square feet and stand 12 stories and 135 feet tall with retail space on the ground floor, the filing says.
Nice to see the renovated Lever House getting filled up
Anyone know any more about what will replace 579-583 Third Avenue? Only thing I can find is that demo permits were filed last year. I walked by recently and there is scaffolding up so this will be gone pretty soon.
It’s SHOCKING how different the Mott Haven area looks when you compare it to 3-5 years ago. Interesting times ahead!
Is this the same site?
