A very insight video.
“ HOK’s Peter Ruggiero redesigns airports for a living. As an airport architect, Peter helped put together the plan to improve New York’s most notorious airport, LaGuardia Airport. So what actually goes into optimizing the design of an airport terminal? Peter guides us through all the aspects of design that are incorporated into modern airports.”
There’s so little air travel right now, why does NYC need three airports? Paris shut down one for the pandemic. LGA would be the obvious choice. Shut it down now and accelerate construction!
Wow! Nice!!
I can’t believe an NY airport is going to look this nice. Probably won’t last very long but I hope after all this Covid sh*t things stay relatively clean going forward.
looks great.
very exciting.
dont forget, this is not a big airport, so it was never going to be grand. open, clean, and functional is what we are after.
You might be surprised with what you end up seeing in this terminal…just saying.
Terminal B is focused around customer experience/entertainment. Terminal C/D, managed by Delta, is less customer focused and more operational focused.
Kinda looks like a modern European airport, nice.
I love it! It doesn’t have to be Singapore Changi!
My first thought was the white cross-bracing kinda reminded me of zurich airport… We could call LaGuardia “Flughafen Queens”
Woah, this looks really nice
June 13th opening
LGA finally enters the 21st century—20 years late.
I will take this over never.
