NEW YORK | Jamaica Queens TOD Rezoning & Downtown Dev

So many housing units but absolutely no allure to this area. No allure at all. The college is cool. Jamaica Ave is basically an outside 90s mall with no allure or appeal. The culture is amazing, spent many years growing up on the Ave.

But all in all, all these luxury units and apartments are like frosting on a pig. Jamaica won’t be able to catch up for a few years.

What college? York College?

I don’t think its campus is anything to get excited about.

Some very interesting development popping up on the left side of Jamaica LIRR station.

This project appears to be identical to 94-15 Sutphin Boulevard mentioned a few posts above, with only a few minor tweaks (including the official street address change). The residential and retail square footage, developer, height, and several other characteristics have remained the same.

I’m pretty sure it’s the same project.

It is the same project and they constantly update/renew the permits at least once a month. IDK why

Thanks for the updates @Waymond_Womano !

In the rendering the building appears to be in Jamaica (country) instead of Jamaica, Queens. Oops!
