update: this will now be a 24-story building instead of a 13-story building
524 residences (instead of 238 per the earlier permit)
So many housing units but absolutely no allure to this area. No allure at all. The college is cool. Jamaica Ave is basically an outside 90s mall with no allure or appeal. The culture is amazing, spent many years growing up on the Ave.
But all in all, all these luxury units and apartments are like frosting on a pig. Jamaica wonβt be able to catch up for a few years.
What college? York College?
I donβt think its campus is anything to get excited about.

This project appears to be identical to 94-15 Sutphin Boulevard mentioned a few posts above, with only a few minor tweaks (including the official street address change). The residential and retail square footage, developer, height, and several other characteristics have remained the same.
Iβm pretty sure itβs the same project.
It is the same project and they constantly update/renew the permits at least once a month. IDK why
