Idk how I feel about these towers. They remind me of generic infill. We need something captivating on the LIC skyline. I wonder if we can get a 1,000ft+ supertall or something in Queens, but I believe there are FAA height restrictions.

The LIC & Greenpoint waterfront is lined by these generic ‘nice looking’ apartment towers. I do not believe developers are either legally or ethically required to construct public works of art; therefore I generally refrain from any harsh criticism on the ‘aesthetic appeal’ of these new buildings.
This design looks GOOD; but not better or best. The ‘better’ architectural design on the LIC waterfront is that ‘stacked boxes’ building - that looks lovely.
These generic/building standard towers also serve as the perfect foil (backdrop) which serves to enhance the beauty of the more Artful Architecture in the area. ![]()
