Looking good. I feel like I expected this to be bad because there was always just one lower quality rendering shown everywhere.

Me too, I almost feel like the developer decided to spend more on the facade when they realized how trendy Hudson Yards is supposed to be. It also would explain why it took them soo long to get moving on the facade.

I agree. I was really surprised by the quality of the glass when it first started rising.
I hope that the crown will be illuminated at night.

And I agree – if the crown is lit completely it’ll be beautiful.

Not bad; but just ‘a building’. I have come to view the aesthetics of buildings’ as being of only two types: a utilitarian design, and an Architectural Design. A building that rises to the level of an ‘Architectural Design’ is special, artful in a word iconic. This building is in my opinion just ‘building standard’ or as I call it ; a utilitarian design. An ‘Architectural Design’ or a ‘Utilitarian Design’ - there you have it, my current level of understanding and opinion on the aesthetics of Architecture. Enjoy…
