Man this neighborhood is going to be one of the hottest markets once all this development and the esplanade completes. People love waterfront living and its in a good part of Brooklyn

Will this still happen with the new CSO tank?

Once the 8 million gallon tank on Nevins St and the 4 million gallon tank on 2nd Ave are completed, CSO into the canal is expected to be reduced by about 70% (from 363 Mgal/year to 115 Mgal/year). So yes, but to a lesser degree.

As the guy says in the video, these condos will have a “ringside seat” for that. It also means the water will never really be somewhere you’d want to kayak, for example, as some glossy renderings suggest. Not sure if it will smell too, but either way it’s no good.

I feel like I’m looking at stills from Westworld.

Another park opened! So far we got 3, looking forward to the day they all get connected

Holy cow. This view with only the Brooklyn skyline in it makes it seem as if you’re in an entirely different city looking at its downtown core. It’s surreal.

There’s more construction going on in this neighborhood alone than in all of Chicago and many other cities. NYC is a behemoth
