There is some construction going on. I was there a few months ago and noticed a lot of construction scaffolding, etc. A lot of exposed beams and preliminary work. In March, they started to remove unnecessary beams that were keeping the ceilings low in the LIRR areas. Nothing yet with NJT.
^ Yeah that apartment plan isnât happening.
Just because there is news about a building in a development does not always mean it is related to the development, thereâs no need to post articles or links that donât mention or relate to anything about this development only for that the building in the link is inside the planned development boundary.
Awesome! I imagine itâll pass easily.
The NIMBYâs are s- themselves right now.

Are the towers gonna ruin their marriages or careers or lives? Like whatâs the issue withâŚâŚ.towers being built around a mainly commercial/office areaâŚâŚlmao? Like move to Omaha Nebraska or something lol
I donât understand why anyone would want to save anything surrounding Penn station in a 5 block radius. That place has been pimped to death by slumlords.
Both Macyâs and the ESB are within a 5 block radius, are you saying those and countless other nice prewars shouldnât be preserved?

If they havenât been properly maintained and their offerings donât track with contemporary needs.
Are you suggesting the ESB shouldnât be preserved?
The ESB has been correctly managed and they have actually managed to keep their amenities fresh. The revamped lobby and 102nd floor observation deck? Thatâs serious business as far as I am concerned.
Are you F.wright? That is who my question was for due to a prior post. Did I indicate that buildings in disrepair shouldnât be razed?
