NEW YORK | Empire Station Complex | 8 Towers | 748-1300 FT

There is some construction going on. I was there a few months ago and noticed a lot of construction scaffolding, etc. A lot of exposed beams and preliminary work. In March, they started to remove unnecessary beams that were keeping the ceilings low in the LIRR areas. Nothing yet with NJT.

Just because there is news about a building in a development does not always mean it is related to the development, there’s no need to post articles or links that don’t mention or relate to anything about this development only for that the building in the link is inside the planned development boundary.

Are the towers gonna ruin their marriages or careers or lives? Like what’s the issue with…….towers being built around a mainly commercial/office area……lmao? Like move to Omaha Nebraska or something lol

I don’t understand why anyone would want to save anything surrounding Penn station in a 5 block radius. That place has been pimped to death by slumlords.

Both Macy’s and the ESB are within a 5 block radius, are you saying those and countless other nice prewars shouldn’t be preserved?

If they haven’t been properly maintained and their offerings don’t track with contemporary needs.

Are you suggesting the ESB shouldn’t be preserved?

The ESB has been correctly managed and they have actually managed to keep their amenities fresh. The revamped lobby and 102nd floor observation deck? That’s serious business as far as I am concerned.

Are you F.wright? That is who my question was for due to a prior post. Did I indicate that buildings in disrepair shouldn’t be razed?
