Let us know when it passes the Willis Tower for highest rooftop in the country, which it has held for over 40 years.
epic…
Only by 2 floors
I keep seeing glimpses of the actual cladding and I think this building will look super nice once all that blue film comes off.
To the top floor right? The roof is extensive
Talking to someone who called cpt “the hideous blue one” and I was like, “there’s a film on the glass!” and they just gave me a blank stare.
It’s labeled roof on the diagram, but looking at the diagram there is a BMU at the top so there should be a small roof up there too
Lots of windows now visible.
Too bad there isn’t still a film on One57 we could peel off to reveal a uniform glass curtain…

This building’s character will completely change when it’s unwrapped.
When was the last time something like this was constructed with a cocoon of film?
I love this building. Once this tops out I need to get to the city and come see this along with 111W57.
I’m likening this more and more every single day.
Would love to see that POS condo building on the corner come down. That would be a dream come true.
After seeing all the moolah pouring from 220 Vornado would love to take that corner but it wouldn’t be easy
