NEW YORK | Calyer Place | 2 x 398 FT | 2 x 33 FLOORS

I believe those piles are for another, shorter building coming up to the immediate south of this development. IIRC this one’s twin has not yet started, and will abut the northern side (blank grey wall in the last photo).

How’s the excavation looking like?

i’ll try and take some pics today - i believe there will actually be three “connected” towers along the waterfront, with a fourth tower behind coming up as well

okay, I have a lot of pics so i’ll try to post twice here (sorry mods if that’s not allowed)

the recently opened waterfront walking area is nice and peaceful:

60 wharf drive stands basically completed, but it’s twin on the northern side (65 wharf drive) has yet to begin construction. it looks like some work is being done to complete the extension of oak street for now.

on the southern side, work is ongoing for a third tower, 30 wharf drive (pics in next post).

there is also a plot at what will become 29 west street that awaits construction. no clue what it will be at this stage.

think this is a separate development, but close enough.

I wish they’d get started on the Bushwick Inlet Park expansion already. Once these Wharf/ Calyer developments complete it’s going to be needed. Will complete a nice section of the waterfront. Has there been any updates on it?

NYC Parks Department Breaks Ground on New Section of Bushwick Inlet Park - Greenpointers

“Construction is beginning ahead of schedule on the Motiva parcel, which is the northernmost portion of the park and runs along the perimeter of the inlet,” said City Council Member Lincoln Restler in an email to constituents. “We are expecting this park space to open in Spring of 2026. Also, the demolition of the massive CitiStorage warehouse is finally happening this Fall and should be completed by the end of 2024.”

This is what the Motiva parcel will look like just south of Calyer Place
