I can’t say I blame these LEGO LAND developers: the time/cost/conflict factor when trying to build anything Architecturally Outstanding in NYC is all too daunting a task.

Architecturally attractive. There is color, texture and a varied shapes for added visual interest. This is architecture; but NOT Architecture with a capital “A”.
I find this term is the best way to define the difference between ARCHITECTURE that is Best; as apposed to most designs that are only ‘good’ or ‘better’. Every now tower need not be an Icon - this is nice, but nothing special.
