This is Extell I wouldn’t be too hopeful

Crazy how Extell has 4 supertalls moving through the DOB

Based solely on sales in previous Brow towers, they may go with stern for this one. We’ll see

Here’s the shorter tower

NYguy stated on SSP that the taller tower has 86 floors.

Looks like a stubby 30 Park Place.

Per NYguy:

I know people were wondering about the space between the 2 planned towers, and as suspected, it appears there will be a large podium, likely with amenity and retail spaces…

This will be a very visible super tall from Central Park and beyond; lets hope the design is decent at the least.

Just a question about the original plans… was the 1500 ft building scrapped or is that speculative among future plans

There were never any plans for a 1,500 ft building. What you’re referring too was a study done by “Landmarkwest” a NIMBY group which was trying to fearmonger to prevent the redevelopment from proceeding. As far as I know, the tower which we’re currently discussing is the only actual proposal that has been released for this site.

Lot 1 also looks like a RAMSA design, so it’ll be a lot like 15 CPW and 220 CPS with a tower portion and a house portion with a motor court in the middle, and probably townhouses like the Henry on the UWS. Should be one of the most prominent skyscrapers in Manhattan considering the location. Probably Stern’s crowning achievement.

RAMSA is the best possible architect for a building so prominent. This project is like 10x more exciting now

I’m excited for what a RAMSA supertall might do for uptown’s general opposition to taller construction
