I know the developers are working asbestos they can to get construction up and running again.

OK, this is a decent contextural building for the Upper West Side. The Central Park facing east facade is especially good which makes sense since that is the side appreciated from a distance in the park. The south facing side is pretty much obscured by 50 W 66th St. The big question remains, what will the monster down the street look like? I would not count on the present drawings.

The Majestic Century is the obvious reference point for 37 W 66th.

Meanwhile, the stop work order issued on the site in July after asbestos turned up during demolition has been lifted, with about a week of remediation left.
