Skipped this in last week’s travels.

Isn’t it supposed to be topped out already?

How can a 28 story building be taller than the 45 story building across the street from it?

Ceiling heights, large lobbies, mechanical, setbacks, and so on can all make a building with lower floors become taller. Also modern buildings have higher ceiling heights versus the older pre-wars that have numerous floors, but lower height in terms of a ft/floor ratio.

Doesn’t hold water. The building I’m referring to was completed in 1977. Pre-war? Iraq? Something fishy about this.
