Let’s give pause and thank the many small creatures that helped make this material.
wow, one tower crane already down. im impressed by how this is coming along
Amazing how dense this section of town has become.
Great updates, thank you
Reminds me of the native American mound builders.
it has a different topography for sure
The limestone facade on the senior portion looks like it came from 5 different quarries. If the entire complex will look like this it is going to be a mess. I can’t imagine the appearance is just from moisture.
Maybe it was on sale -
Passed by this today, love what’s here so far. Also, wow the Hudson Square neighborhood has really turned a corner. Last time I was there was years ago and it was still quite empty and drab. Now it’s turned into its own little business district with lots of workers and residents around. Street design looks beautiful with daylighting intersections everywhere, with tree-lined streets and flower beds all along. So many new flashy buildings and adaptive re-use that I almost didn’t recognize the neighborhood. Love it!
It looks great. I used to work on Spring and Varick (in the 2010s, where Disney built their green mothership), and it was a completely different vibe—imagine if all the leftover warehouses move elsewhere!
I plan on visiting soon, any places I should check out?
