Something is happening though laying out thick steel plates with anchor flanges seems an odd way to start. Here are some pics for all to ponder.

Learned today that the thick steel plates placed in the bean’s location are to protect the cement from being broken up by the heavy equipment to be used to install the sculpture. The plates are not permanent. The flanges were added to the plates so they could easily be lifted and moved around.
