Tonight
There’s no hope for Eighth Avenue, unless MSG and 2 Penn are demo’d and a new Penn launches a Renaissance.
Until then, it looks like Eighth will remain what Robert calls “Schlocksville”
I’m mystified the owner of the T-mobile store didn’t make a deal. I’m sure Chang was being cheap, but who else can you sell the building or the air rights to now?
It just accentuates a really trashy look.
in what fkcing world is that a corner tower?
this is disheartening
An empty lot would be better lol.
F*** that T-mobile building owner but wow Chang and Kaufman outdid themselves this time. Uninspired in every way and that shear wall is disastrous.
Does anyone know which hotel chain will be at this building, is there any signage to suggest? I know that it was originally linked to Radisson.
Its Radisson Hotel Group.
I wish Gale Brewer would put her nimby energy into hideous buildings like this one instead of going after buildings that are “too tall”.
