Continuing the discussion from NEW YORK | “High Line District” (Special West Chelsea District):
How’s this for fancy? An 11-story, 27-unit development, the Soori High Line, is slated to rise near the High Line, BuzzBuzz Home reports. Given its name and the resort-like, Asian-inspired design, it’s no surprise to hear that the it’s being jointly built by a New York developer, Blackhouse, and one from Singapore, Oriel. The designer is Singaporean, too, according to Blackhouse’s website. The sleek black facade above will grace 522 West 29th Street, between Tenth and Eleventh avenues, and amenities will include a concierge, library, wine cellar and gym.
Now, as for the luxe residences themselves, they’ll have 20-foot ceilings, ginormous windows, living-room fireplaces, outdoor space, and, get this, private heated swimming pools. Yup, there is basically a spa in your apartment. Where are we, Bali? Browse the photo gallery above for some interior design eye candy and a hint at the stunning views, even from the bathroom. Don’t think we don’t see you, lady in the bathtub looking out at the skyline. Bonkers.
