Exemplary treatment of a blind wall.

Agreed on the blank wall treatment. A great example of thoughtful urban design.

Unfortunately only the uber lux can afford, like 220 CPS.

I just don’t find the appeal of living in the midtown area. I find so many other neighborhoods appealing. Like Williamsburg, Bushwick, etc. There’s more life and vibrancy to those neighborhoods you know?

I’d live in midtown in a heartbeat but I think over that I’d rather live in downtown Brooklyn or LIC. Skyscraper living is a pie in the sky for me.

Looks like it’s at or very close to 600 feet.

Oh yes, that’s what I do. The city has changed a lot since I last saw it (September 2017). This is my fourth city holiday here after 2011, 2016 and 2017. I’ve been following the forum here since the end of 2014, and this week I’ll have the opportunity to take some pictures myself.

This should really be the standard for the city. You want to build big on a small plot great, but you’re not gonna erect a concrete pillar. NYC should have high standards
