I just checked who this Gene Kaufman is and what is on proud display on their website goes from bland and forgettable through. tacky to hideous misuse of otherwise decent architectural designs.

As someone mentions elsewhere, passivhaus designs tend to be dark slabs without much artistic merit because efforts go in a different direction… so I hope this is the case. If it is going to be ugly let it be cheap to live in and pay the bills.

Quick Memo:

Been getting some flags from folks flagging personal opinion on developments (how it looks, feeling about it, ect).

Many which I’ve disagreed with upon review and restored. Just so folks know, members are allowed their own opinion on the development. Unless it doesn’t deviate to far from what the topic is, its not off-topic. Let’s be reasonable if a post does get flagged as to not abuse the flag feature.

Also, if someone doesn’t know, lets serve to educate and not pounce on individual members if they don’t know. All part of the discussion and discourse that is YIMBY. Its what makes us the gold standard.

And if folks have discussion on the architecture from “X” development and want to draw similarity to others towers, even if not in “Y” city from which “X” development hails, that is okay. So long as its within reason and again, doesn’t deviate to far from the actual development or architecture/RE for that matter.
