I believe that this site is about as big as the old MTA HQ on Madison that BP is developing. I hope that BP’s tower comes out as nicely as this.

This video suggests that the lights will pulse up the facade at night. If that’s correct, this will be even more amazing.
Foster has hit some duds lately, but he hit a triple with two men on with this building, and a walk-off home run with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth to win the World Series with 270 Park.

This is the most insanely luxurious office building in the city since the opulent FiDi years in the 20s. Absolute insanity. It puts buildings like One Vanderbilt and One World Trade to shame in terms of fancy finishes, if not actual architecture

Now I’m even more anxious to see how the fins look when lit. The video makes them look exceptionally bright on the skyline, marketing videos tend to exaggerate. The lighting of the diagrid is a lovely addition.
