This is great news! 47th Street has some really beautiful old buildings that need some TLC, but for the street to reach its potential, the few pieces of junk, like this, must come down!!!

Too true… it will need to be replaced with a tower to fit in with the incoming cityscape.
I’m not sure if both of those white, gabled buildings are part of this site. They both need to go, as do the two pieces of junk to the west.

Unfortunately after many years these buildings remain standing.
This is the most heinous crime in recent memory.
